My Articulated Wings

These are the new, fully articulated wings I created, in all of their super-heavy, awkward glory.

I didn't take this picture. OTL In fact, I have reposted it from someone's blog, which can be found here: [link] I didn't have my camera with me, as I somehow forgot to bring it. If the photographer doesn't approve of my usage of the picture, then by all means, contact me.

I wasn't happy with how bulky and heavy they are, so I will be stripping them, modifying the framework, and using lighter materials for "skin" and "feathers." The feathers also bunched up, folded, and did all sorts of crazy things, so I will not be reusing the vinyl.

And yes, I know, improper wing anatomy is improper. I hate how I'm somehow reduced to three pathetic flight feathers on each wing, since I love lengthy flight feathers. I had some serious miscalculations, and I ended up being way too short for this wing size, thus I had to scrap some length. The next version will be much better.
